Fred Bruce has been in the contract furniture world for over 30 years.  He got into the business after finding a passion for sales while working at a furniture dealer in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.  After a few years, he moved to Ohio to begin a new job as a Manufacturer’s Representative.  Fred now lives in Mason, OH with his wife (Janna) and their three boys (Carter, Kyle and Cooper).  He loves spending time with his family, watching football and playing golf.

Ryan has been active in sales and management in the construction, capital equipment and contract furniture industries throughout his career.  He loves problem solving and helping to make his customers shine for their clients while delivering the right furniture solution. During Ryan's contract furniture off hours; he enjoys spending time with his two children, who are twins.  Ryan resides in Indianapolis, IN and is an active fund raiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Man and Woman of the Year campaign.  Ryan holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a Master’s Degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.

Jennifer Wagner has over twenty years of experience in the contract furniture and design industry. She started her career as an interior designer at a small boutique design firm and then moved to a local dealership where she continued to work in design.  Jennifer has had many roles at BLG but her current focus is A&D Representative for the Cincinnati and Dayton market. She is passionate about educating the A&D community on BLG's great lines and working with them to find solutions that offer amazing design and value to their customers. Jennifer lives in Liberty Twp. with her husband Ken and two daughters Grace and Audrey. When she and Ken are not at soccer games or dance recitals they enjoy exploring many of the new restaurants and breweries that have been cropping up in the revitalized areas of Cincinnati.

Sally Cunningham was raised in Indianapolis and studied interior design at Purdue University. She began her career in Chicago and then moved east to Delaware where she worked at an architecture firm for nearly a decade. She returned to Indiana in 2009 and resides in Carmel with her husband (a Philly native), two daughters (Hannah and Kendall), and their Siberian husky.  Her work experience has included full service interior design, move management, and business development.  When she’s not loading sample chairs in the back of her car, she can be found snapchatting, taking a long walk with her dog, sneaking off to book club, or hanging with two year olds in the church nursery.

Lauren Carbaugh attended the Harvard on the Hocking, Ohio University, where she obtained an interior architecture degree.  She worked as a commercial interior designer for ten years in Atlanta, Columbus and Boston.  She is NCIDQ certified and LEED accredited.  She is a city girl at heart and resides in the Short North with her husband, daughter, son and furbaby.  After starting a family, she made the transition into sales as the Architecture and Design rep for BLG in the Central Ohio territory.  She loves being on the "other" side of the design world where she gets the opportunity to help with furniture and fabric specifications while hosting fun promotions/events to showcase the latest products.  Outside of loving all things design, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cruising, skiing, party planning and trips to Target!

Kate Balsman is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Interior Design.  She is NCIDQ certified as well as LEED accredited.  For the last twelve years she was involved at the dealer level in design and sales and most recently Kate worked as a contract designer for A&D firms, dealers and manufacturers nationwide.  During her time in these positions she has become well-versed in the furniture industry; from trends to technical specifications and sustainability criteria.  She uses that knowledge at BLG to support the A&D community in Kentucky by showing them the ins and outs of our amazing lines.  In Kate's spare time she enjoys reading, movies, traveling and spending time with her husband Dane, baby Bo and their rambunctious dog named Moxie.

Scott Kline has been an associate with BLG since 2001. Scott started his career in office furniture working in sales for two dealers prior to joining BLG.  Scott has over 30 years of experience in the contract furniture industry.  Scott resides in Akron, Ohio with his wife Vicki.  Their two daughters are married and Scott and Vicki have 3 grandchildren; Bennet Forrer, Emily Krammes, and Aubrie Krammes. In his free time Scott enjoys spending time with his family and entertaining his grandchildren.

Carrie L. Stary earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. She began her career as a project designer with a small contract furniture dealership.  She continued this path working for several dealerships in Cleveland, Ohio, eventually launching a small interior design and furniture services company.   After 10 years as a small business owner, Carrie joins BLG as the A&D Representative for northern Ohio (Cleveland/Akron/Toledo/Youngstown).  She is excited to be starting a new chapter in contract furniture, sharing her love for design, attention to detail and furniture expertise with the A&D community.  Carrie lives on the Westside of Cleveland, when not designing and specifying furniture she enjoys reading, gardening, DIY projects around her home, spending time with family and friends and walking/entertaining her standard poodle Piper.

Emily Smith is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Interior Design.  She got her first taste of the commercial furniture world while working for a dealership in Cincinnati.  After taking a short hiatus to spend time with her family, she is happy to be on board with BLG part time and back in the furniture loop. Emily works in the Cincinnati office doing inside sales, quotes and running samples all over town. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, go to Reds games, see a concert, or read a book.

Tracey Hilvert joined BLG in August of 2016.  She manages our showroom and also assists with customer service and quotes.  Tracey is a native Cincinnatian with a passion for baking cakes.  She is married and has two daughters and 3 dogs. Tracey has a degree in Photography and can often be found behind the camera at her daughter’s dance competitions or music-related events.  She enjoys spending time with her family and is a master at preparing goetta (a Cincinnati favorite)!

Janna Bruce began working with Fred as the Architecture & Design Representative in 2001 after the two were married.  They met in the office furniture world when Janna was working for a dealer in Cincinnati and Fred was making lots of sales calls to her office.  Janna now works behind the scene as the Office Administrator.  She lives in Mason, OH with Fred and their three boys.  Outside of work Janna enjoys volunteering at school, spending time with her family (which usually involves the boys’ sports) and traveling.  Janna holds an Interior Design degree from Miami University.
